What is Online Therapy and E-Coaching?
It is text-only therapy or coaching where your licensed therapist will help facilitate change and problem solving in a wide range of differerent areas.
Who does it suit?
If you want help, guidance or support from a licensed e-coach or online therapist.
If you use the Internet.
If you like writing.
If you are willing to be honest with your e coach/online therapist.
What is the difference between Online Therapy and E-Coaching?
E Coaching is suitable as you don’t have to be online at the same time as the therapist, you and the therapist can take time with your thoughts and write at length. E-mail is especially preferred by people who like to write, and people who have very busy schedules.
Online Therapy is preferred by those who want right-now response from the therapist. Just remember: chat is a very slow way of communicating.
How can Online Therapy and E-Coaching work?
As with telephone counseling, it lacks the face to face contact, but also the vocal contact which may be a hindrance but may also be a medium in the 21st century which suits many people who feel too threatened by the consulting room and a therapist's voice.
What can it help with?

Coping with changes.
Coping with losses – a relationship, a home, family, school, work.
Coping with difficult relationships.
Coping with anxieties and phobias alone.
Coping with depression and lack of motivation.
