Hypnotherapy is the application of hypnosis as a form of treatment, usually for relieving conditions or pain related to one's state of mind.  When a client enters a state of trance, they are more receptive to suggestions and making changes.  Ultimately, hypnotherapy is about empowering the individual to make changes in their life.

 

During hypnotherapy, you are in a natural state of relaxation where you have a heightened awareness so that you are able to access your subconscious mind and make internal changes and confront emotional and behavioural problems.

 

Ultimately, hypnotherapy is about empowering the individual to make changes in their life and I always teach my clients ‘self hypnosis’ so that you will be able to go away and put yourself into a trance and continue the benefits of our therapeutic work

What is Self Hypnosis?Minimize
 

All self hypnosis is hypnosis.  You can put yourself into hypnosis.  Once learned, you are encouraged to practice this for a few minutes several times a week.  You can use it any time during the day, when you are on a train, in a lift or before sleep.  It is an empowering form of self therapy which takes little time and can have huge benefits.  It can be used for relaxation, healing pain, working on a specific problem, meditating, resolving a problem, making a decision, preparing for a difficult interview or presentation, motivation, etc.
